And This Too Shall Pass is an installation that deals with the passage of time and its transient nature; both in a personal manner [through the mediation of the artist’s emotional experience] and in a direct fashion [through the physical body as the source/method of transformation to highlight the ephemeral qualities of time]. The objects presented become signifiers and markers of time; whether expressed through the daily accumulation of cigarette exhale on tissue, through the performance of daily self-portraits, or through the sewing of monthly hair cut remains.
